But, in Boquete, you will find one place that offers both and the only thing they have in common is Lauretta Bonfiglio. Okay, they both have chairs, but that’s just a coincidence.

Okay so you still may be wondering...Why? Well it's simple. Lauretta has been in Boquete since 2001 and is a favorite among the local Panamanians and Ex-Pats. Fluent in Spanish she has become part of the fabric of Boquete and has developed many relationships in this tiny but beautiful country. Until a few years ago she focused only on creating a destination restaurant, a place where all visiting tourists, Panamanians and all others, felt welcome and at home. The Bistro quickly became a place for Ex-Pats to gather and talk about their experiences in their new home. With good food and a great atmosphere the Bistro remains one of Boquete’s most beloved restaurants.

As you can imagine, Lauretta has become friends with people from all over the world, with many of them asking for her help in making their Panama dreams come true. Becoming a real estate advisor was a gradual and natural move for someone so invested in the happiness of others.
